The Fall Of Icarus illuminates Paris

A monumental light work arrives in France with Olivier Ratsi's first solo exhibition

The Fall Of Icarus, second in a series of three installations

Known for ambitious light works in both galleries and public space, French artist Olivier Rats presents The Fall Of Icarus as his first solo show, at Bigaignon in Paris.

After prototyping and initial exhibitions, the finished piece is made up of 60 tubes of light suspended five metres above ground in an illustration of ‘the fall’, a ‘snapshot of collapse’.

The Fall Of Icarus is the second in a series of three installations, each piece retracing different points from before, during and after.

At the Bigaignon exhibition collectors will have the chance to acquire one-off sketches and work at an accessible price point.
